I am a collaborator
Congratulations! a FormTitan user has made you his collaborator, granting you access to his forms/reports/data.
This is great, but how do you access these forms/data?
Ok - so it goes like this:
| 1- | Once a user adds you as a collaborator you will receive an email to let you know about it. If you did not have a FormTitan account when you were added, one will be set up automatically for you and the email will also contain an activation link and sign in details. |
| 2- | When you log in to your account you will see your account details at the top right corner: If you are a licensed user that was also defined as someone else's collaborator - the details will specify your main account and the type of license you have. If you are a free user that was defined as someone else's collaborator - you will see the owner account details and your collaborator type (Collaborator / Editor / Creator). If you are set up as a collaborator for a few accounts (Yes- this is possible) - you will be asked to specify the account you want to work from right after logging in. |
| 3- | A Collaborator associated with a few accounts can easily move from one to another by using the "Switch account" option in the user Submenu. |
| 4- | After logging in (and choosing a specific account if needed) you will be able to access the forms/data permitted to you as a collaborator through the "Shared with me" tab. Notice that each Shared form card will also show the permissions specified for you using these 3 letters: R - Read. It means you can view the form / data W - Write. It means you can edit the form / data. D - Delete. It means you can delete the form / data. To access shared forms: Go to "form builder"> Open > "Shared with me" tab  This also applies to the accessing of shared data in "My submissions' page: Go to "my submissions" > Open > "Shared with me" tab * If you have a FormTitan license in addition to being a collaborator (of another licensed user) and you choose to work in your main account - then you will be able to see 2 tabs in your account: one for your forms and one for the forms that are shared with you (as collaborator). |
| Another way to access the forms and data In addition, You can also access the forms and data through the "My Forms" page, where the forms will be marked as "Shared".  |
