When you want to Integrate forms with Salesforce you need to map your form fields to your Salesforce fields. If a salesforce field is not supported in the tool you are using for your integration, it means it cannot be mapped: You will not be able to “read” from it or “write” to it. So if a Salesforce integration is what you intend on doing, better look for a tool that supports as many Salesforce fields as possible.
Once you found a tool that suits your needs, When mapping your form fields to the Salesforce fields you will need to make sure you to map your data to the right types of fields in Salesforce, this will later help you streamline your data analysis.

Auto Number |
Automatically assigns a unique number to each record. |
Checkbox | Allows users to check a box, indicating a true or false attribute of a record. When using a checkbox field for a report or list view filter, use “True” for checked values and “False” for unchecked values. Allows users to enter an email address of up to 80 characters, which is validated to ensure proper format. If this field is specified for contacts or leads, users can choose the address when clicking Send an Email. External Lookup Relationship | An external lookup relationship links a child standard, custom, or external object to a parent external object. This field is supported in the FormTitan salesforce integration Learn how to map the Salesforce external lookup relationship |

Hierarchical Relationship | Creates a hierarchical lookup relationship between users. Allows users to use a lookup field to associate one user with another that does not directly or indirectly refer to itself. Indirect Lookup Relationship | An indirect lookup relationship links a child external object to a parent standard or custom object. When you create an indirect lookup relationship field on an external object, you specify the parent object field and the child object field to match and associate records in the relationship. Lookup Relationship |
Creates a relationship between two records so you can associate them with each other.

Master-Detail Relationship | Creates a relationship between records where the master record controls certain behaviors of the detail record such as record deletion and security. Number | Allows users to enter any number. This is treated as a real number and any leading zeros are removed. This field is supported in the FormTitan salesforce integration Learn how to map the Salesforce Number |
Percent | Allows users to enter a percentage number as a decimal—for example, 0.10. The system automatically converts the decimal to a percentage—for example, 10%. This field is supported in the FormTitan salesforce integration Learn how to map the Salesforce percent |
Phone |
Allows users to enter any phone number. Character limit is 40. Salesforce automatically formats it as a phone number. If you are using Salesforce CRM Call Center, custom phone fields are displayed with the button, allowing click-to-dial functionality. Picklist (Multi-select) | Allows users to select more than one picklist value from a list that you define. This field is supported in the FormTitan salesforce integration Learn how to map the Salesforce multi select picklist |
Text | Allows users to enter any combination of letters, numbers, or symbols. You can set a maximum length, up to 255 characters. This field is supported in the FormTitan salesforce integration Learn how to map the Salesforce Text |
Text Area | Allows users to enter up to 255 characters that display on separate lines similar to a Description field. This field is supported in the FormTitan salesforce integration Learn how to map the Salesforce Text Area |
Text Area (Long) | Allows users to enter up to 131,072 characters that display on separate lines similar to a Description field. You can set the length of this field type to a lower limit, if desired. Any length from 256 to 131,072 characters is allowed. This field is supported in the FormTitan salesforce integration |
Text Area (Rich) |
With the use of a toolbar, users can format the field content and add images and hyperlinks. The toolbar allows the user to undo, redo, bold, italicize, underline, strike-out, add a hyperlink, upload or link to an image, modify alignment, add a numbered or non-numbered list, indent, and outdent. The maximum field size is 131,072 characters, inclusive of all the formatting and HTML tags. Only the first 254 characters in a rich text area or a long text area are displayed in a report. The maximum size for uploaded images is 1MB. Only gif, jpeg and png file |
