Showing the label is optional
Users don't like to fill in forms, especially long forms, or forms with many required fields. With this in mind you should try cutting down to as fewer mandatory fields as possible.
While it is common to add an asterisk sign next to a mandatory field - to make it clear that it is required, it is also recommended to add an "Optional" label next to the un-required fields.
This feature is not active by default, however you can choose to activate it.
Following are steps to add an "Optional" label:
1- | Sign in to your FormTitan account. |
2- | Enter your form in the form builder. |
3- | Go to your "Properties" panel > "Form" tab > "Settings" > "Personalization" Category > Show optional Label |
4- | Turn on the "Show optional Label" checkbox. You can also change the default text that will appear next to the element label. |
