When setting a field condition you need to specify the outcome for each element you want to affect.
Up till now you had the ability to choose Whether the affected elements will be shown or hidden, disabled or enabled.
In this version we have added more results for you to choose from:
1- Mandatory/ Not mandatory,
This will enable you to create a condition, that once met will change a chosen input element from mandatory to not mandatory (or vice versa).
You could ,for example, 'force' the user to enter his age after he entered his name. so the 'age' field will only become mandatory if a name is entered.
2- Set value
for regular input elements
This will allow you to create a condition, that once met will insert a value (set by you) to the input element. These values can consist of digits, letters or both.
for the checkbox element
The 'Set value' option in the 'Results' also works in the checkbox element. Since it is a multi selection element, you would need the ability to specify a value for each item in the checkbox: "true" or "false" (in lower case letters). Well- we're glad to say - this is now supported,
for the progress bar
Another thing the 'set value' is really useful for is the 'Progress' element.
For example: if you have a form with 20 fields, you could create a field condition for each one, specifying that if it is filled (not empty) then
the progress element value will be "+5".
By doing so, each time the form filler will advance and input data in another field - the progress bar will change accordingly.
3- Open/ Close section
If you want to affect the section in your condition results you will fine 2 new options in its 'Results' dropdown: open and close.
These options apply to a collapsible section (which is also a new feature). by choosing "Close" in the result you will make the section collapse if the condition is met, and by choosing "Open" you will make it expand.
