How to show the valid indicator icon and hide the Good text

Last updated Dec 09 2020

Each element in the form builder contains a built-in Error and Valid indicator. So when something goes wrong - the error indicator appears, and when the user entered a valid value the Valid indicator shows.
The Valid indicator is combined of a small v icon and a label (with the text "Good", by default).

Is it possible to change or remove the valid indicator?
Yes, it is - These are the options:
1- Change the Valid indicator text
2- Remove the Valid indicator text
3- Hide the entire Valid indicator

1- Change the Valid indicator text
If you wish to change the text in the valid indicator (from 'Good' to 'Valid', for example), you need to do the following:
- Go to 'Properties panel' > 'Form' tab > 'Settings' option
- Open the 'Error messages' category.
- Turn on the 'Enable custom messages' option and press on "Configure" button.
- A modal window will open and the first category - Form Preview - will be open.
- Simply change the value 'Good' in the "Valid text" field.
- Press "Apply" and save the form.

2- Remove the Valid indicator text

If you wish to show the icon but remove the text, please do the following:
- Click on the link: https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+2800
- Copy the value and paste it in the valid indicator box.
It will look like you just pasted a space there but have no worries...this is not a regular space and it will remove the text for you.

- Go to 'Properties panel' > 'Form' tab > 'Settings' option
- Open the 'Error messages' category.
- Turn on the 'Enable custom messages' option and press on "Configure" button.
- A modal window will open and the first category - Form Preview - will be open.
- Simply change the value 'Good' in the "Valid text" field by pasting the character instead of it.
- Press "Apply" and save the form.

3- Hide the entire Valid indicator
If you wish to hide the valid indicator completely, you can either hide all of the valid indicators in the form or hide an indicator of a specific element in the form.

A- Hiding all the indicators in the form
- Go to "Form Properties" > "Settings" tab > "Optimization" category
- Turn off the 'Show Valid Indicator' checkbox.
- Save the form.
