Use a condition to trigger a Salesforce action

Last updated Mar 24 2019

In this demo we will show you how to use a condition to trigger a Salesforce action.

We will show you:
1- A form we've already set up where the filler searches a Case (using a Lookup field), and then data is populated,
2- How to add a condition where if the 'Status' field is not 'Closed' and the 'Priority' is 'High' then a Salesforce action will be executed: to create a Task.
3- How to create the Push action that will create a new task in Salesforce (that works with a custom button).
4- Configure the Condition results:
5- Test the form:
- Search a case.
- Change its status and priority so it meets the condition.
- Check the Integration logs to see the action was executed.
- See the task in Salesforce.
