Dropdown - Advanced navigation mode

Last updated Aug 23 2018

A dropdown is a dropdown is a dropdown...or is it?
Up till now the FormTitan dropdown element could be used as a regular multiple input field (like a picklist in Salesforce), it could be turned into a Multiple selection element (like a multi select picklist in Salesforce) or even configured as a multi-page navigation tool.
In this version we have added a new property in the Dropdown element called:

‘Advanced navigation mode’.
This option allows you to create a kind of dynamic menu from your dropdown, by setting a different destination URL for each option. This way the form filler could choose a dropdown option and be redirected to a different URL destination.

Setting the advanced navigation is easy, all you have to do is:
1- Turn on the ‘Advanced navigation mode.’
2- Change the label text (this is the text that will appear in the dropdown)
3- Map each dropdown item to its target value.
Open the ‘value’ dropdown to choose where to take the destination URL from.

This dropdown will display the hidden fields and calculated fields in your form, and when the form is multi-page, it will also display its pages.

4- Press 'apply' and save your form.

Enjoy!
