In order to create a multi page form you need to use the Page break element. The pagebreak comes with a strip that contains navigation buttons (next, back & finish), so the filler can move between the form pages. However you can also hide this strip and use custom “go next”, go prev” or “go to page” buttons if you like.
In this version we added a new property to the ‘Go next’ ‘Go prev’ and ‘Go to page’ buttons called: ‘Skip validation’.
You see, usually when a filler presses on these buttons to move between form pages, he is not allowed to proceed to the next page if there is an empty mandatory field.
However, some users prefer their form fillers to have a continual input process, without stopping them each time a mandatory field is not filled in. This is where our new feature comes in, because when this checkbox is turned on the filler will not be forced to enter the empty mandatory fields when he tries to move to a different page.
Nevertheless, since it is still important that the mandatory fields are indeed filled in at the end, we advise that you turn on the “Full validation’ checkbox in the “on submit” category, which will enforce the mandatory validations when the submit button is pressed.
