New property for mask with placeholder

Last updated Mar 22 2019

When you use a mask on a field you can also have a placeholder text in that field. So if for example you want the filler to type a code in this format NN-AAAA (two numeric fields followed by four alphabet letters), you can also have placeholder in the field showing the format or even regular text to guide the filler.
When these two properties are combined the placeholder will not clear when the cursor is focused in it. This means that the filler will still see the placeholder while he is typing. And this is ok when the placeholder contains the format for the input (because then the entered text matches the placeholder under it), but it becomes confusing when input is entered and a completely irrelevant text is visible beneath it.
This is why we’ve added this new property called: Clear Placeholder on focus.
When this option is turned on the placeholder text is automatically cleared from the field when the filler enters data in it.
* Thank you Erin M. for noticing this!

Enjoy!
