The FormTitan Get integration allows you to load picklists straight from Salesforce when the form is loading.
Till now, in order to draw the picklists 'On Load' - you would need to set a condition in the Get action line, by which the Record ID needs to be empty.
Seems this workaround was not so intuitive for many users, so we decided to make it simpler: We added a new checkbox in the Get integration window called ‘Load Picklist’ and all the user needs to do now is turn it on and map the picklist.
Example:
Let's say you want to load the 'Industry' picklist from Salesforce (from the 'Account' object) into your Dropdown - what do you do?
it's simple - just:
- Drag a Dropdown element to your form.
- Remove its default choices and turn off the 'Add other' checkbox - so the dropdown is empty before we load its choices from Salesforce.
- Go to the Properties panel > Form tab > Settings option > Salesforce integration
- Press on the "Set Get" button
- Authenticate with Salesforce
- Choose the 'Account' object and turn on the 'Execute on form load' checkbox
- Open the 'Action' Category and Turn on the 'Load Picklist' checkbox.
- Now open the 'Map fields' category and map your dropdown to the Industry field in Salesforce.
- That's it, you're done.
Enjoy!
