Word composer element: Barcode

The Barcode element allows you to add a Barcode, QR code or Swiss QR code to your word document.

Barcode
In order to add a Barcode all you have to do is
:
1- Press on the ‘Insert/Edit Barcode’ icon.
2- Select the first option in the radio button: Barcode.
3- Fill in the properties:
Object: if you wish to pull the properties dynamically from Salesforce fields just select the object they belong to.
Comment: Enter text.
Type: the "Static" option is selected by default so Choose the barcode type or change it to "Dynamic" and map to a Salesforce field with a valid type name.
Line width: Set the thickness of the line in the barcode. The " Static" option is selected by default, but you can change it to "Dynamic" if you want.
Line height: Set the height of the lines in the barcode.
Line color: Set the color of the barcode lines.
Show value: this property will control whether or not the value of the barcode will be displayed under it. You can either turn on the checkbox or choose "Dynamic" to bring the boolean value from Salesforce.
Value: Set the value stored in the barcode, whether by typing it in or bringing it dynamically from SF.


QR Code

In order to add a QR Code all you have to do is
:
1- Press on the ‘Insert/Edit Barcode’ icon.
2- Select the second option in the radio button: QR code.
3- Fill in the properties:
Object: if you wish to pull the properties dynamically from Salesforce fields just select the object they belong to.
Comment: Enter text.
Error Correction Level: set the level by choosing from the dropdown or by pulling it from SF.
Dark color: the foreground color, is by default black, but you can change it to a different dark color using the color picker.
Light color: the background color is by default white, but you can change it to a different light color using the color picker.
Value: Set the value stored in the QR code, wether by typing it in or bringing it dynamically from SF.
Generate DataMatrix: By turning on this option you can add a DataMatrix code instead of a regular QR code. Watch the video
Variant: If you've chosen to create a DataMatrix you can use this dropdown to choose between a regular DataMatrix and a DataMatrix rectangular.


Swiss QR Code
In order to add a swiss QR Code all you have to do is
:
1- Press on the ‘Insert/Edit Barcode’ icon.
2- Select the third option in the radio button: Swiss QR code.
3- After that enter the QR Size in pixels
4- Turn on the "Invoice mode" checkbox if you want to generate an invoice that contains the QR code inside it.
5- If you turn on the "Invoice mode" you can also choose the Language of the invoice from the dropdown: English / German / French / Italian.
6- Fill in the properties:
Swiss QR has 3 sections you can fill (the first 2 must be entered): Bill, Payable to, Payable by.


Bill

Object: if you wish to pull the properties dynamically from Salesforce fields just select the object they belong to.
Comment: Enter text.
Account: Enter a valid IBAN number. 
Amount: Enter the price.
Currency: Enter either CHF or EUR.
Reference: Enter a valid reference number.
Unstructured message: Type in a short message.


Payable to
Object
: if you wish to pull the properties dynamically from Salesforce fields just select the object they belong to.
Comment
: Enter text.
Name
: Enter the payee name.
Address line 1+2: Enter the Payee address in the 2 address lines (Address line 1 and address line 2).
Country code: Enter a 2 digit country code.


Payable by
Object
: if you wish to pull the properties dynamically from Salesforce fields just select the object they belong to.
Comment
: Enter text.
Name: Enter the payer name.
Address line 1+2: Enter the Payer address in the 2 address lines (Address line 1 and address line 2).
Country code: Enter a 2 digit country code.
