Using Smart V for Salesforce without an Email field

Last updated May 16 2019

In this video we will show you how to setup your Smart V without using an Email field. Smart V usually requires an Email field however there is a way to work without it and that's what we'll show you in this demo.

We will show you how to:

- Add a Smart V element
- Choose the Contact as object.
- Add the fields you want to validate by. for example: First name,  mobile phone and Contact ID.
- Turn on the "Disable 2FA" and "Validate without mail" checkboxes.
- Set the phone number in Password mode, so the characters are masked when typed in.
- Test the form.
- Now add the 2FA again and add an additional field for the Secret. (in this case we used the Fax field).
- Test the form - notice that the email will not be sent now so you will need to notify your user by other means.
