In this video, we will show you how to set the order of execution on your custom actions.
We will show you:
- A form we've already set up for this example, in which we create an Account, create an opportunity and then retrieve data from the Opportunity.
- How to configure a simple Create action (for the Account)
- How to create another create an action (for the Opportunity).
- How to set up a Get action to pull data from the Opportunity.
- Make sure the "Use in custom button / action" checkbox is turned on for all of the actions.
- Select our Custom Salesforce action button and press "Set".
- Select the 3 actions from the dropdown and add them one by one.
- Map each record id to a hidden field on the form.
- Turn on the "custom execution order" option.
- Set the order for each action and save the form.
- Test the form.
