How to add a Header and Footer to your Smart V window

Last updated Apr 02 2019

The Smart V login window is a compact, simple white popup window. But you can expand it by adding a Header above and Footer below it.
It's actually pretty easy - Just follow the steps:

Adding  a header
1- Create a new blank form
2- Drag a Smart V element to the form
3- Publish the form as URL - you will see the Smart V default look.

4- Select the Smart V element on canvas and go to:
Properties panel > Element tab > Settings option > Advanced category > Header

5- Press on the “Change” button to configure your header.
6- Create your Header in the editor. It is recommended to create the HTML beforehand and just paste it in the source code. (Go to: Tools > Source code).
* Please note - The Smart V modal is 450px wide and it is aligned to the center of the browser window, so you should make sure your Header width is the same and also aligned to the center for it to “sit” directly above it.

You can also paste this example and change it to your liking:

7- Press “Apply”.

8- Save the form and refresh the published form page to see the change.

Adding  a Footer
Following are the steps to add a Footer:
9- Select the Smart V element on canvas and go to:
Properties panel > Element tab > Settings option > Advanced category > Footer
10- Press on the “Change” button to configure your footer.
11- Again, to create your footer in the editor. It is recommended to create the HTML beforehand and just paste it in the source code. (Go to: Tools > Source code).
Also - you need to make sure that the Footer width is the 450px and also aligned to the center so it “sits” directly under the Smart V.

Use this example and change it to your liking:

12- Press “Apply”.
13- Save the form and refresh the published form page to see the change.
