Can I dynamically change the destination URL of my form link?

Last updated Aug 23 2018

Sure you can.
Adding a link to your form is easy - all it requires is to drag an HREF element and change the URL in its settings to the desired destination.
But what if you want this URL to change based on your form filer’s input? Can this be done? Sure it can - using the ‘Set value’ and ‘Set value from’ options in the condition results window.

Follow this example to learn how it’s done:
1- Create a new blank form
2- drag a textbox and an href element
3- The HREF has a default URL leading to formtitan.com website, - change it to http://abc.com
3- Select the textbox on canvas and set a condition:
If Textbox contains a then set value: http://cnn.com
4. Save the form and test it
5. Enter my in the textbox and  press on the link - you will be redirected to http://abc.com
6. Now change it to amy and press on the link -  you will be redirected to http://cnn.com

* You can also use the ‘set value from’ option and use the URL from a hidden or calculated field in your form.
