Once a new element is added to your form - it has default settings and you will need to configure them.
Each element has basic settings which you can and should change, such as:
1- alter the default element name (which will also change the element's label text).
2- change or remove the placeholder text,
3- add a tool tip text to your element.
4- determining if the element is mandatory.
In addition, each element has its own set of settings which need to be set in order for it to work properly. for example:
1- an options list for a dropdown / radio button / checkbox element.
2- Setting Minimum & Maximum values to a numeric element.
3- Choosing the format of a phone element (regular or international).
4- Entering the URL of a privacy statement for your privacy element.
In order to configure the element settings you will need to:
1- Make sure the element is selected (once added it is selected by default) - the element settings will open in the properties panel on the right.
2- simply change the settings required and that is it.
