Last updated Apr 13 2017

Once a form filler enters data in your form in an incorrect way he will get error messages to point out the problems and help him solve them.
For example, when someone tries to submit the form without entering the required fields - he will get errors saying that the fields are mandatory.
FormTitan offers default messages, in English, but you can change them if you want to.

Following are steps to change the error messages in your form:

1- Sign in to your FormTitan account.
2- Enter your form in the form builder
3- Open your "Form Settings" > "Error Messages" Category > Enable Custom messages.
Turn on this checkbox to configure the messages.
5- Once you press the "Configure" button a modal window will appear, containing all the error messages.
The messages are devided in to 3 categories:
Form Preview - Includes messages related to the basic form filling process. This category is open by default.
Rules - Consists of messages related to the form conditions.
Limits - Includes messages related to the form limits.
6- Change the texts you need to and press on "Apply". When you are done it is recommended to publish the form and test these messages.
