The signature element is very useful in a form, and just like any other field you use, you must enable your filler to reset it if he chooses to.
but how can a signature element be cleared? it's not like a regular Textbox where you can simple select the entered text and press "Delete".
Resetting the signature field can be done in 2 ways:
- By double click of the mouse inside the signature element.
- By pressing on a "Reset signature" button.
The form filler, of course is not aware of these options, so you (the for owner) will have to decide which method you want to use and let your filler know about it.
Double click inside the signature field
This way of clearing the field is active by default so If you wish to have your filler use this method to clear the signature field, all you have to do is add a label next to the Signature to let him know.
Pressing the Reset signature button
In this case you need to add a Button element to your form, change its type to 'Reset signature' and finally choose the signature field it will reset.
And of course, it goes without saying, you will need to change the default text on the button to 'Reset signature' so the filler will know what it's for.
