Yes - you can!
But first - a few words about the Checkbox field:
The Checkbox is a simple element that can be divided into 3 parts:
- The element (the square box).
- The label (in most cases above the element on the left).
- The caption (text connected to each option).
In order to use a Checkbox in your form you are required to give each option its text (this is called ‘Caption’). However, even though the caption are a must you can still hide them if you prefer.
The way to go about it is:
1- Select the Checkbox on canvas
2- Go to: Properties panel > Element tab > Style option
3- Choose “Caption” on the ‘Apply style to’ dropdown
4- Open the ‘Font’ category and change the size to 0
At this stage - if you want to make the spaces between the Checkboxes bigger you can do the following:
5- While the Checkbox is selected on canvas
6- Go to: Properties panel > Element tab > Style option
7- Choose “Caption” on the ‘Apply style to’ dropdown
8- Open the ‘Size’ category and change the width to 30 (for example).
* In the example shown above we've hidden the captions of a single Checkbox, but you can easily apply these actions to a few Checkboxes together by selecting them all before you start (with the CTRL key or Shift key pressed).
