In this version, we’ve added “Force Validation on submit” and “Ignore Validation on preview” to the Word document generation. Till now this feature was only available for PDF document generation, but as of now, you will also be able to use it for your Word documents.
Just a quick reminder of what these options do:
- Ignore validation on preview
This option will allow your fillers to proceed straight to the document preview window, without having to worry about form validations such as mandatory fields or value rules.
This option is used when your Word preview is interactive and you want the fillers to enter data there rather than in the form.
- Force validation on submit
This option is used together with the previous one. And allows you to have the form validations reinforced inside the preview window.
