The Targeting feature allows you to send an email, containing a link to your form, to multiple recipients. If it sounds familiar to you that’s because it was active a long time ago, and was taken off the shelf because the many emails coming out of our servers made it look like they were SPAMMING.
Due to user requests, we decided to make this feature available again, only this time the emails will not be coming out of our server, but from the user’s SMTP server instead.
Steps for using the Targeting option:
1- Set up your own SMTP server (in My account > Mail settings tab)
- Turn on the “Enable” checkbox.
- Enter your server details: Host, Port, User and Password.
- Make sure the “Use FormTitan mail server as fallback” checkbox is not turned on.
- Press on “Save”.
- You can send yourself a test email now, to make sure it works.
2- Set up your Targeting campaign:
- Go to Properties panel > settings option > form tab > and open the Targeting category.
- Press configure and add a campaign.
- Go through the 6 steps and send your email. Learn how to configure the campaign
