When form fillers enter data in input fields on a web page the browser tends to remembers it. This allows it to automatically suggest possible values for you to choose from when you start typing. And this is a great thing, however, some users find this a privacy concern, or just an annoying behaviour which they want to disable.
In this version we’ve added a new property to our element settings called: Disable auto suggest.
Once activated it will stop the browser from auto suggesting.
Please note that we work according to protocol, however disabling the Auto suggest will work differently in every browser. in some cases, the browser will continue suggesting autocompletion values even when the autocomplete property is turned on.
How to use this:
- Select a field on canvas.
- Go to ‘Properties’ panel > Element tab > Settings option > Advanced category
- Turn on the ‘Disable auto suggest’ checkbox and save the form.
* Special thanks to our user Chris Ballar for bringing this up.
Enjoy!
