This new feature is really powerful - it will allow you to add your own search box and draw the results to the form. Thus allowing your fillers to look for records in Salesforce based on the text they type in.
How can this be achieved? Well, actually it is pretty simple. We’ve just added a new option to our Get integration condition called: ‘Search Pattern’ and all you have to do is basically connect your Salesforce field with your form field using this new option. Here’s an example:
Let’s say you have a custom text field in your Case object called: involved, in which you enter full names of people who are involved in the case (with comma between them).
You can then add a regular textbox to your FormTitan form (call it for example: Search) and it will act as the searchbox in the form.
The next step will require you to configure a Salesforce Get integration, where you will need to set a condition like so:
Involved → Search Pattern → Search
And of course map the results to other form fields ( You can show a single result in a single field or display multiple results in a table or a repeated section).
Thank you Omri Lerer for requesting this! is a hell of a feature!
