When your form is used with PDF generation and it also contains mandatory fields / value rules, the filler will not be able to see the preview of the PDF until all of the fields are filled in correctly.
And this makes sense because this is what validation is for. However, in some cases, you may want to allow the filler to proceed quickly and swiftly to the preview, without detaining him for validations. So this is why we’ve added a new option called: “Ignore validation on preview” to our PDF settings.
This option, for example, can be used when you have interactive fields in your preview window, and you don’t care if the filler enters the fields correctly in the form, because he can still correct the fields in the preview.
