What happens when you create your layout, that includes a few rows of elements. and then want to another fields somewhere in between these elements? Well, unfortunately this requires you to move the elements down and make room for this field, because you cannot simply drag this field in the middle - right? Wrong! Now you can.
We’ve added a new action called “Drop correction” which will allow you to squeeze an element in between 2 rows of elements automatically, without having to make room for it.
All you have to do is:
- Press on the “Drop correction” option in the actions toolbar
- Turn on the checkbox to activate this functionality
- Set the top and bottom spaces for this element
- Select the field on canvas, drag it in between 2 elements and then drop.
- The field will then be squeezed in based on the spacing you set, and the rest of the elements will move down accordingly.
