This is a great solution but what if you’ve already got an HTML form set up in your website and you’re happy with it? What if the only thing missing in your existing form is the Salesforce integration? Do you really need to create a new form from scratch to replace it?

This method will allow you to keep using your current form on the website, and have the Salesforce integration added to it using the FormTitan form. The formTitan form will act as a shadow, and will only work behind the scenes.
A similar solution may also be found in the Salesforce WEB-TO-LEAD feature, that allows you to create leads in Salesforce from a form you publish on your website. This solution is used widely however it is limited since you can only map one Salesforce object (in this case: Leads).
FormTitan’s shadow form, on the other hand has no limits to the number of objects you can map to (standard or custom) and it can also include complex logic so by embedding it in your website form you are actually empowering it.
How does this work?
All you have to do is:
- create a form with the same fields as your current form.
- map the form fields to Salesforce via integration.
- do not worry about layouting and design since this form will not be visible to form fillers at all.
- Publish your form as Shadow
- Embed the code in your form’s HTML and set the parameters that you want
