What is the Salesforce Textarea field type?

The Textarea is a field that allows users to enter up to 255 characters that display on separate lines similar to a Description field.
Example for a Textarea field in Salesforce contact object is: Description.

In order to draw the Salesforce Textarea to your form you will need to map it to a Textarea element.
