Create new theme

Last updated Mar 15 2016

Now that you understand what the theme builder is used for it's time to discuss how to use it.

How to create a new theme

When you enter the theme builder you will probebly notice that it looks almost the same as the form builder - only with a green name strip. The theme builder layout being same as in the form builder is no coincidence. the reason for this is that using the styles in both builder are done in the same way.

Following are the steps to create a new theme:

1- Enter the theme builder
2- Notice that a form is already open on canvas. This is the default form and you can easily change it by pressing on "TRY THEME ON MY FORM" and selecting a different form. What you need to understand is that which form is used on canvas is actually insignificant, since the theme created is an independant entity and is not connected to to the form. The form in this case is used as a preview tool only, so you can see how the style will be applied.
3- Give your theme a name.
4- start difining the styles in your theme:
It is recomended to start your theme by applying styles to all elements using the "General element" tab.
When you change style in the "general element" inner tabs (container and element) it will effect all elements in the form.
and then if you wish to make small changes to certain elements you can select and change them seperatly, or even add these small style fixes in the form builder.
