In this demo we will show you how to style an "Other" option in a radio button, but just so you know- this can also be applied on the other 2 multi select elements: Checkbox or Dropdown.
Each of these fields has a property called "Add Other" in its settings, which is active by default. Once the filler chooses the "Other" option in the field, a Textbox appears below the field to collect the filler input.
This functionality is built-in and that is why styles of this default textbox cannot be changed. So as for changing the default "Other" style - this cannot be done.
BUT, you can still achieve the same result in a different way and create a Radio button, Checkbox or Dropdown with a styled "other" option.
How can this be done? Simple...
Following are the steps:
1- Remove the "Add Other" default option.
2- Add a new option to the element options. Call it "Other".
3- Add a textbox just below the element.
4- Select the element on canvas and go to Properties panel > Element tab > Settings option > Conditioning.
5- Add a condition: If current field equals Other then show the textbox.
6- Save the condition and save the form.
