In this video, we will show you how you can create dynamic contracts using our FormTitan Word add-in for Salesforce.
With dynamic contracts, each client sees the data they have access to without needing to create separate contracts for each company. This means a single contract can be used for multiple clients in your company because the logged-in user viewing the contract sees the clause they should see, based on their Salesforce status.
Let's look at a real-world example. Say that your contract status consists of multiple values. You've been asked to create a contract that displays the clauses dynamically based on contract status. In this video, we will show you just that, Say bye to creating 10 different contracts and hello to dynamic clauses.
We will show you:
- A demo contract we've already set up in Word.
- How we mapped the fields inside of the contract.
- How to show a paragraph in the contract based on a condition (placed on our data in Salesforce).
- How to set the condition.
- How to publish the document, which will upload it to our FormTitan form.
- The form we've set up in our FormTitan account, which pulls the contract data.
- The mappings we've set for the push: to update the contract data, and also to create a file (the contract) under this contract record.
- How to check the Word mapping is all set up ok.
- How to test the form.
