When a PDF mapping is generated and submitted you can always see a copy of this PDF inside your “My submissions” page in the relevant entry line. But what if the entry was submitted and the PDF was not created because there was a condition set and the terms were not met, For example...? what then?
Well, up till now, you could only view PDF documents in the “submissions” page if they had really been generated. If there was no PDF in the entry row there was nothing you could do about it.
In this version we have added the option to generate a PDF document in the entries, even where the PDF was not created. This can be achieved using the Version content feature, which enables you to generate a PDF and download it. In order to do this you need to:
- Turn on the "Version control" checkbox in your "form settings"
- In "My submissions" page:
Go to an entry row where you have no Signed form
- Press on the "View version" link. a modal window will open
- Press on the "Generate PDF" button and a link will then be created on the left side of the window.
- Press on the link and the PDF will download
