In one of our previous versions we added caching for picklists from Salesforce, where we set the cache automatically to last 24 hours. We did this so the browser will not have to load the lists each time and shortens load time.
Since then we have started to understand that some users, who are used to having the data drawn in real-time without any caching could get confused when they suddenly don’t see object fields update. so we changed this feature from being automated to being totally under the user’s control.
A new category in the “Get” integration lines was added : Meta caching
Once the user turned on the ‘Cache picklist and meta’ checkbox the picklist/s in this get line will have caching set for a week. So the only way to see changes in this scenario would be to use the ‘Refresh’ icon to update the changes.
